Muddy Mayhem is located on the Mapledurham Estate, Mapledurham, Reading, Berkshire RG4 7TR. The Estate is accessed from the A4074, Reading to Oxford road. Signs will be in place opposite The Pack Saddle Pub from the A4074 taking you passed Caversham Heath Golf Club.

We may alter or omit some obstacles on the day or the route may vary depending on weather, ground conditions or by request of estate farm management.
It is essential that you check your confirmation email and make sure that your details are correct. This includes your contact details, emergency contact details, medical information etc. This is particularly important in the case of an emergency.
If you have entered as part of a team you need to make sure that individual entrant details are correct i.e. the team captain hasn’t just copied and pasted their details for everyone. Please check and amend if necessary. If the details are incorrect you will not be allowed to run.
There is no upper limit as long as you are fit and healthy enough to run or walk the course but the minimum age is school year 1. The age ranges apply on run date i.e. so if your child is currently in Year 6 then come October he/she will be in Year 7.
You must be fit and healthy enough to participate in a run of this type. Any medical conditions must be detailed on your online registration so we have a record of them. Update them before you run if necessary. You must also write them, plus details of any medication, onto the back of your bib with a permanent marker.

Yes, you will receive an automated reply once you have paid. This is your confirmation of entry. If for any reason your entry was incomplete or we have a query we will contact you via email or phone.
Yes, we’d love it if you did, so will your charity. Simply set up a Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com and you choose the charity you would like to support.
Unfortunately, we do not give refunds unless you can provide a doctor’s note. But you can give your place to a friend within 7 days of your cancellation notice, after that, your place will then be offered to the next person on the waiting list. Your replacement needs to complete the appropriate forms.

No. Your race number and safety pins will be ready for you to collect at the registration tent on the day. We want to save our trees so all documentation is on this website and we will email a reminder near the date so please make sure your email address is correct and legible.
No, parking is free, so just turn up and marshals will guide you to your parking place.
Yes, we will be accepting a limited number of registrations on the day, however, we advise you book in advance to avoid disappointment. We will only accept the correct cash on the day. We have no facilities for card payment and sorry no cheques.
Yes of course. Start times will be staggered but if you want to run with friends or have set up a team just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will ensure you are all together.
Yes, teams of 8 or more receive a £5 per person discount! See entry form for details. This only applies to adults doing the 5Km and 10Km distances.
No group entries will be accepted on the day, only individuals.
You are welcome to come in fancy dress but please consider what you are wearing and the type of terrain and obstacles you will encounter. Also, remember your costume won’t look the same at the end of the race!
Yes. Spectators are more than welcome. There will be food and refreshment between the car park and the finish. You will be able to see the start of the race and the first couple of obstacles. You can then walk passed the watermill to see runners cross the finish line.
